The Offer Audit Checklist Every Founder Should Use Before Scaling

Scaling a weak offer accelerates the leaks. Run this audit before you spend another dollar on growth.

Scaling magnifies whatever is already true about your offer. If the offer is strong, scale compounds. If it is weak, scale exposes. Run this audit first.

Clarity

  • Can a stranger repeat the offer back in one sentence?
  • Is the dream outcome explicit?
  • Is the mechanism named and defensible?

Value

  • Does the value stack total to a number that dwarfs the price?
  • Does each stack item neutralize a specific objection?

Risk

  • Is the guarantee specific and measurable?
  • Does the guarantee remove career risk, not just financial risk?

Speed

  • Is there a defined quick win in the first 14 days?
  • Has the time delay been minimized wherever possible?

Positioning

  • Is the offer positioned out of the comparison spreadsheet?
  • Is selectivity visible in the buyer journey?

If you cannot answer yes to most of these, fix the offer before you scale anything else.
